General Department of Taxation deploys tasks for 2023 and launches E-commerce Portal

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 15, in Hanoi, the General Department of Taxation (Ministry of Finance) held a national online conference to deploy tax tasks in 2023; announce the E-commerce Portal and the Electronic Invoice Program from cash registers.

Attending and chairing the conference from the Hanoi bridge point were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance; comrade Cao Anh Tuan - Deputy Minister of Finance, in charge of the General Department of Taxation. Also attending were representatives of central ministries, branches and 63 Tax Department bridge points of provinces and cities.

Following the conference from Nghe An bridge were comrade Nguyen Dinh Duc - Acting Director of the Tax Department and representatives of the Tax Department's departments and offices and leaders of regional Tax branches.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the results of tax work in 2022 and the implementation of tax tasks in 2023. Accordingly, in 2022, despite implementing tasks in a context of many difficulties due toCovid-19 pandemicThe world economy is subject to many unpredictable risks, but thanks to the attention and support of the Central Government, ministries and localities; the spirit of effort and initiative of the whole industry, the General Department of Taxation has successfully completed the assigned tasks.

Based on the 8 tasks and 23 solutions set out for 2022, the industry has resolutely implemented the set targets. Thanks to that, the total budget revenue by the end of November is estimated at over VND 1,638,900 billion, of which domestic revenue reached VND 1,387,200 billion; budget revenue under the management of the tax sector exceeded 124.3% compared to the estimate assigned by the ordinance; budget expenditure for 11 months is estimated at VND 1,335,900 billion; 63/64 localities and units (except Cao Bang which has not yet completed) have exceeded the budget revenue target, of which many units have reached the budget revenue milestone of VND 30-50,000 billion and Nghe An for the first time entered the top of provinces with good budget revenue with over VND 20,000 billion.

Thanks to proactive revenue sources, the tax sector has contributed to the implementation of major balances of the economy, helping to minimize factors affecting inflation; continuing to implement tax exemption and reduction policies as well as deploying support packages for businesses and people to reduce difficulties and recover the economy after the Covid-19 pandemic...

To successfully implement the tax work goals and tasks in 2023 in the context of the economy facing many difficulties and high risks due to international conflicts, the General Department of Taxation determined that on the basis of inheriting and promoting positive results in 2022, effectively implementing tax management solutions,accelerate digital transformation, especially by using electronic invoices, effectively managing thee-commerce business activities, effectively combat tax fraud and tax refunds; continue to effectively implement solutions to nurture sustainable revenue sources, exploit remaining revenue sources...

Next, based on the comments and proposals of the localities, the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation received, responded and concluded with suggestions for solutions to help the industry better perform its tasks in the coming time.

Within the framework of the conference, the representative of the General Department of Taxation introduced the basic content of electronic invoices generated from cash registers and performed the opening ceremony to activate the electronic information portal connecting with domestic e-commerce platforms.
