Mr. Bui Quang Huy was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union for the 12th term, 2022-2027.
On the morning of December 16th, the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, for the term 2022-2027, introduced the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Youth Union.
Earlier, on the afternoon of December 15th, the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, 12th term, took place.
144 delegates were elected to the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union. The new Executive Committee elected a Standing Committee of 33 members, a Secretariat of 6 members, the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union, and the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Youth Union.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union of the 11th term - was re-elected as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union of the 12th term.

The re-elected Secretaries of the Central Committee of the 12th term of the Vietnam Youth Union include: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Chairman of the Central Committee's Inspection Commission of the Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Union.
On behalf of the 12th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, First Secretary Bui Quang Huy expressed gratitude for the trust and expectations placed upon the 144 members by the Congress. He also pledged that the new Central Committee would continue to foster unity, strive to excellently fulfill its duties, and lead the Youth Union's work and the youth movement nationwide to achieve further success and implement the resolutions set forth by the Congress.

Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang (born in 1982, from Binh Duong province) holds a Master's degree in Law, a Bachelor's degree in Law, and advanced political training.
Mr. Ngo Van Cuong (born in 1984, from Bac Ninh province) holds a PhD in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and advanced political theory qualifications.
Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam (born in 1984, from Ninh Binh province) holds a PhD in Construction Engineering and advanced political theory qualifications.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet (born in 1988, from Kien Giang province) holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Aviation Engines, a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Engines, and advanced political theory qualifications.
