(Baonghean.vn) - Joining the working delegation were Colonel Hoang Tuan Hien - Deputy Director of the Department of Policy of the Ministry of National Defense; Colonel Doan Xuan Buong - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4.

To celebrate the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2022), the 33rd anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2022), on the morning of December 20, a working delegation of the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense organized a journey to pay tribute at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery.

Also attending were representatives from the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 4. On the side of Nghe An province, there were Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of Anh Son district.

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate, pay tribute to, and commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the National Liberation Hero, outstanding cultural celebrity, and beloved Father of the Vietnamese People's Armed Forces.

Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation vows to continue studying and following his shining moral example and steadfast revolutionary spirit; to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people, determined to build an increasingly strong Army, and to excellently complete all assigned tasks in the new situation.

Offering incense and flowers to commemorate the Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos, the delegation respectfully and solemnly commemorated and expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of nearly 11,000 martyrs who fell in the Land of a Million Elephants for their noble international duty, contributing to nurturing, protecting and developing the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, forever green and everlasting./.
