(Baonghean.vn) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just decided to appoint Major General Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 to hold the position of Commander of Military Region 4, Ministry of National Defense.

Major General Ha Tho Binh was born in 1968, his hometown is Thanh Hoa province. He worked for decades in Military Region 4. He is currently a member of the 15th National Assembly of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province.
In 2017, he held the position of Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4. In March 2018, he was appointed Deputy Commander in charge of technology of Military Region 4.
In August 2018, he was appointed Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4, and at the same time, he was appointed to the Standing Committee of the Military Region Party Committee.
At the end of November 2022, he was assigned to be in charge of the Commander of Military Region 4, replacing Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, who was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister also signed Decision No. 1575/QD-TTg, appointing Colonel Doan Xuan Buong - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4 to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, Ministry of National Defense.
