Nghe An's budget revenue in 2022 reached 21,152 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - As of December 25, 2022, Nghe An's budget revenue reached VND 21,152 billion, an increase of 40.9% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, exceeding the estimated implementation reported at the 11th Session of the Provincial People's Council.
On the morning of December 26, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the regular December meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to and give opinions on the results of socio-economic development in 2022; discuss solutions and tasks to implement the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan for 2023.

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, branches and 21 localities.
Reports and opinions presented at the meeting highlighted specific and noteworthy results in December and the whole year of 2022. At the same time, limitations, difficulties, obstacles and causes were identified. Thereby, key tasks and solutions were proposed to strongly promote socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security in the coming time.
Regarding the results achieved, as of December 25, 2022, the province's budget revenue reached VND 21,152 billion, an increase of 40.9% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Of which, domestic revenue reached VND 19,832 billion; revenue from import and export activities reached VND 1,320 billion.

The industrial production index is estimated to increase by 12.56% over the same period in 2021. The export turnover of goods is estimated at 154.3 million USD, down 24.8% over the same period. It is estimated that in the whole year of 2022, the export turnover of goods is estimated at 2,168 million USD, up 2.6%; the import turnover of goods is estimated at 1,175 million USD, up 18.2% over the same period in 2021.
The province's tourism industry has shown a clear recovery. It is estimated that in December, the number of tourists reached 340,000, with tourism revenue reaching 301 billion VND. Accumulated for the whole year, the number of tourists is estimated at 6.73 million, 2.56 times higher; tourism revenue is estimated at 5,602 billion VND, 4.02 times higher than the same period in 2021.

In December, the province granted new and adjusted 19 projects with a total investment of more than VND 980 billion. In 2022, the province granted new projects with a total capital of VND 29,408 billion; adjusted 109 projects. The total newly granted and adjusted capital was more than VND 42,879 billion, an increase of 9.05% over the same period in 2021.
Despite many efforts, as of December 20, the provincial-managed public investment capital has only disbursed more than VND3,663 billion, reaching 49.21% of the total plan. Excluding the newly allocated additional central budget and national target program sources, the disbursement result reached 60.73%.

In addition, international cooperation and integration activities continue to be effectively implemented. There has been much progress in the cultural and social fields; national defense and security have been ensured, and social order and safety have been maintained.
In 2023, the province's budget revenue estimate is 15,836 billion VND, an increase of 839 billion VND compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council in 2022. Of which, domestic revenue is 14,586 billion VND, revenue from import and export activities is 1,250 billion VND.
