Nghe An recognizes 10 more communes meeting new rural and advanced new rural standards

On the afternoon of December 28, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting of the Council for appraisal, review and recognition of communes meeting new rural standards of the province to discuss and vote to consider and recognize 3 communes meeting new rural standards and 7 communes meeting advanced new rural standards in 2022.
In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee continued to direct the Steering Committees at all levels to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in a drastic and strong manner from the provincial to grassroots levels, regularly closely following up to inspect, urge, and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles.
After registering for the new rural and advanced rural areas, with high political determination and the attention and participation of all levels, sectors and localities, positive results have been achieved, the rural areas have become more spacious, green, clean and beautiful. The number of poor households in the commune registering for the new rural areas of Dien Chau district has decreased by less than 3%.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial New Rural Area Appraisal Council voted unanimously for 3/3 communes to meet new rural standards and 7/7 communes to meet advanced new rural standards in this period.
Accordingly, 3 communes will meet new rural standards in 2022, including Dien Doai, Dien Van, Dien Bich (Dien Chau); 7 communes will meet advanced new rural standards in 2022, including Tan Son, Hoa Son, Trang Son, Dong Son (Do Luong) and Dien Hong, Dien Thai, Dien Nguyen (Dien Chau).

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De acknowledged the efforts of localities in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development. At the same time, he said that the communes assessed this year that are eligible to be included in the voting list are important results to complete and exceed the plan set by the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, which is to have 10 more communes meeting new rural standards, 22 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, and 2 districts meeting new rural standards in 2022.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the localities recognized as meeting the standards coordinate with the New Rural Coordination Office and departments and branches to complete the documents according to regulations. The two districts of Dien Chau and Do Luong continue to complete the documents to submit to the Central New Rural Appraisal Council for recognition as new rural districts.
Thus, up to now, Nghe An has had 302 communes meeting new rural standards and 27 communes meeting advanced new rural standards./.
