Before entering the final round of matches in Group B, the Vietnamese team has 7 points and is temporarily leading this group. A win against the visiting team Myanmar will help coach Park Hang-seo and his team avoid Thailand in the semi-finals.

After the goal, the Vietnamese team began to show their superiority, completely dominating the game. However, the home team only scored 1 more goal to double the gap. The person who scored against Nanda Oo was Tien Linh in the 27th minute. Van Hau's cross from the bottom of the line put the Myanmar goalkeeper in a difficult position. Therefore, this goalkeeper made a mistake when passing the ball to Tien Linh's feet. The striker from Binh Duong made a quick shot to double the gap for Vietnam.

In the second half, Tien Linh left the field and Phan Van Duc came on to replace him. The new player from Hanoi Police was arranged to play on the right wing, the presence of this player made Vietnam's attacking ability more diverse.

With a lot of pressure on Nanda Oo's goal, Vietnam had many opportunities to score. However, it was not until the 73rd minute that substitute Chau Ngoc Quang raised the score to 3-0 for the home team. The goal came from a series of coordinated situations in the middle. The ball came to the feet of the midfielder playing for Hai Phong, this player took a shot from outside the penalty area, the ball went hard, creating an arc and leaving goalkeeper Nanda Oo helpless.

The semi-final will take place on January 6, in the capital Jakarta between host team Indonesia and Vietnam.
