Hundreds of meaningful gifts for workers at the program 'Together to Make Tet' in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of gifts and many meaningful activities have been deployed for workers, young laborers and union members and youth in difficult circumstances at the program "Together to Make Tet" in 2023.
On the morning of January 12, at Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company (Bac Vinh Industrial Park, Vinh City), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and accompanying business units to organize the program "Together to Make Tet" in 2023.
Attending the program were representatives of the Central Youth Union's Urban and Workers' Youth Committee; the Central Youth Union's Volunteer Youth Committee; the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; the Provincial Labor Federation; the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and accompanying business units.

In the atmosphere of the whole country welcoming a new spring, moving towards celebrating the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2023), the program "Together to Make Tet" in 2023 aims to share and bring a meaningful year-end festival to the workers and youth union members of Nghe An before the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao.
Speaking at the program, comrade Tran Huu - Head of the Central Youth Union's Urban and Workers' Youth Department said that the program "Together to Make Tet" was jointly implemented by the Central Youth Union, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Saigon Beer Brand under SABECO to support young workers and laborers with good achievements in their work, as a gift of encouragement for their contributions over the past time. This year, the program is expected to award 8,000 gifts worth more than 5.6 billion VND to workers in 11 provinces and cities, including Nghe An.

Within the framework of the festival, 800 Tet gifts were given to union members, young workers and laborers in difficult circumstances. Each gift was worth 300,000 VND in cash and 400,000 VND in kind.
Of these, 100 will be awarded directly at the program. The remaining 700 will be handed out directly to workers working at enterprises in the province by trade unions at all levels in coordination with grassroots youth unions.

Workers and laborers also experienced the Spring Festival activities such as discount booths, “0 VND” booths, handmade booths. In addition, the Spring Festival program with activities such as Spring Corner decoration space, banh chung wrapping contest, Tet cultural food booths, cultural and artistic exchanges between youth union members, etc. was also extremely exciting and bustling.
Through the activities of the “Together to Make Tet” Festival, the Central Youth Union hopes to continue to spread widely in society the message of “leaving no one behind” and the noble value of the nation “the whole leaves cover the torn ones”.

From there, the Youth Union at all levels and social organizations will continue to have more meaningful activities, accompanying disadvantaged children and youth, especially during the Lunar New Year. Through the program, it will contribute to creating more motivation for young people to continue to strive to excel in labor and production; join hands in recovering and developing the country's socio-economy.

In order to support information promotion and product connection introduction for young entrepreneurs, on this occasion, the Central Youth Union in coordination with accompanying business units supported Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to build an Information Portal to promote, introduce and connect Nghe An youth products with a value of 500 million VND.
In addition, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union directed the establishment of 10 volunteer youth teams to ensure security, order and traffic safety during the Lunar New Year.
