(Baonghean.vn) - Near the end of the year, amidst the hustle and bustle, in coordination with TH Group, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, representatives of Nghe An Newspaper went to Yen Thanh district to give warm and meaningful Tet gifts.

Bringing a warm Tet to difficult circumstances

Holding up a finger, Mrs. Thai Thi Nhuan in Vinh Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) humorously said, “I’m only a few years away from turning 100,” when asked how old she was this year. She gave birth to 7 children, but 3 of them have died. Her husband was a martyr and died in 1961. She currently lives with her 5th son, who is over 60 years old. “I’m a hundred years old and sick all day long. Being invited to receive gifts like this during Tet is very touching,” Mrs. Nhuan said, tearfully.

Exactly 100 gifts worth 50 million VND, are the sharing and the heart of the staff, workers and employees of TH Group, Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank and "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, sent to the lives of those who still have many difficulties in Yen Thanh district, hoping that people will celebrate Tet, enjoy Spring happily and warmly. Each gift includes 1 publication of Nghe An Spring Newspaper and 500,000 VND which was given to families in difficult circumstances and students in Tang Thanh, Vinh Thanh communes, and Phan Dang Luu Secondary School.

"These gifts are given by us in coordination with businesses, hoping to contribute more sentiments and material things, so that the poor and people in difficult circumstances in the district can have a happier Tet," shared a representative of Nghe An Newspaper.

Present with the students to receive the emotional gifts, teacher Ngo Thi Hien, who has worked at Phan Dang Luu Secondary School for 20 years, including 17 years as a teacher and 3 years, from 2019 to the end of 2022 as the school's principal, emotionally shared: Among the school's students, there are many pitiful circumstances - orphans, living with grandparents, sick, poor families..., some even have autism and hyperactivity.

“In Yen Thanh district, there are no specialized schools specifically for autistic students. Most families cannot afford to send them to study elsewhere, so the school assigns them to their classmates, in pairs, to study and play together,” said Ms. Hien.

In addition, for students in difficult circumstances, in addition to exempting part or all of the tuition fees, the school also finds ways and takes advantage of all resources to help them overcome difficulties and continue going to school. Especially at the beginning of the school year, during Tet and Spring, from the support of former students, parents, retired teachers, children of teachers in the school and from the contributions of teachers themselves, many students in difficult circumstances have received gifts full of humanity.

On this occasion, the affection from TH Group, Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank, "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, and Nghe An Newspaper is a warm sharing, contributing a little more warmth to the children and their families.

Not only in Yen Thanh district, these days, the leaders, reporters, cadres, and employees of the Newspaper, although having to "sprint" to complete the workload at the end of the year, each person is willing to arrange and "work overtime" to reach the poor. From the appeal and coordination with businesses, many meaningful gifts have come to people in localities in the province, from Yen Thanh, Hung Nguyen, Do Luong... to remote mountainous districts such as Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Tuong Duong...

Giving love to "Tet for the poor" is a long-standing tradition of Bac A Bank and TH Group. From 2017 to now, with the amount of 12.6 billion VND supported through the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, hundreds of thousands of people in difficult circumstances have been shared every time Tet comes and Spring comes. Hero of Labor in the renovation period Thai Huong - Chairman of the Strategy Council of TH Group, General Director of BAC A BANK, who is also the founder - Chairman of the Management Board of the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund once shared: "Individually, each of us is just a drop of water - Together, we are an ocean". Over the years, the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, BAC A BANK and TH Group have accompanied the Red Cross in many major programs such as: Tet for the poor, Humanitarian strength, activities to support people in difficult circumstances and especially children.

In recent times, Nghe An Newspaper and the above units have closely coordinated, carried out many charitable activities, supported and helped the poor, policy families and local people in Nghe An province affected by natural disasters and floods.

"Today is fun, don't cry anymore"

Recalling the emotional words of Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Director of the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, during her visit to the family of an elderly war invalid infected with Agent Orange in Quang Son Commune, Do Luong District, to look back at the acts of kindness that the staff of the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, TH Group and Bac A Bank, under the guidance of Ms. Thai Huong, have given to people in difficult circumstances in the Central region, which is still facing many hardships. Before the tears of Mr. Le Quang Khuong, who is 78 years old this year, supported by the above units in coordination with Nghe An Newspaper to build a spacious and sturdy house, Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang also choked up.

“Wherever there are difficulties and hardships, there are Bac A Bank and TH Group” - that heart has been the bright “compass” for many years for the “For Vietnamese Stature” Fund, Bac A Bank and TH Group to have many noble acts, accompanying and sharing with many disadvantaged people.

In 2022 alone, Nghe An Newspaper has accompanied the "For Vietnamese Stature" Fund, TH Group and Bac A Bank many times, bringing many gifts and meaningful and practical support to the poor and those in difficult circumstances.

In early October, Ta Ca commune and part of Muong Xen town, Ky Son district were devastated after flash floods; in Nghe An province, many areas were submerged in floodwaters, due to the impact of storm circulation No. 4 causing prolonged heavy rain, floodwaters surrounded, isolated, and separated people, facing countless difficulties.
