Many activities of giving Tet gifts to the poor in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Letter calling for support and help for the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023 of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, on January 12, a number of departments, branches and organizations organized activities to visit and give meaningful Tet gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the province.
* Working delegation of Nghe An Provincial PoliceMajor General Pham The Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department visited, wished a happy New Year and presented 200 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND and 10 kg of rice) to households in especially difficult circumstances in Muong Long commune.
Next, the delegation presented gifts to the Party Committee, government, and police of Na Ngoi, Nam Can, Chieu Luu, and Huu Kiem communes with the generalworth 630 million VND.

In Muong Tip commune, the working group of the Provincial Police also presented 50 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to poor households and those in particularly difficult circumstances in the area. At the same time, the Provincial Police presented 17 breeding cows, creating livelihoods for 17 households in particularly difficult circumstances with a total amount of 350 million VND.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 200 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND in cash and 5 kg of sticky rice to 200 poor households in the communes of Quynh Bang, Quynh Minh, Quynh Luong, Quynh Nghia, Tien Thuy, An Hoa and Quynh Tan.
* On the same day, Nghe An Department of Transportvisited and gave Tet gifts to policy families and poor households in Nghia Dan district.
Here, the delegation directly presented 200 Tet gifts, each worth 650,000 VND in cash, to 200 policy households, poor households, and near-poor households with especially difficult circumstances in the communes of Nghia An, Nghia Duc, Nghia Khanh, and Nghia Loc; the total value of the gifts is130 million VND.

This is one of the practical and meaningful activities organized annually by the Department of Transport to support and encourage policy families and poor households in Nghe An province every Tet holiday; helping people to have a warm and joyful Tet holiday.
*Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Societycoordinated with the Red Cross Society of Quy Hop District to organize the giving of 70 Tet gifts to 70 policy households and poor households with especially difficult circumstances in Chau Loc commune; the total value of the gifts is 70 million VND.

The above gifts were sponsored by the Northern Petroleum Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company through the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross to share difficulties with policy families and poor households in Chau Loc commune, hoping that the families will have a warmer Tet./.
