Morning of January 14,Provincial National Assembly DelegationNghe An, led by Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Defense - Security Committee, directly visited Hung Tay and Hung Yen Nam communes (Hung Nguyen district).wish a Happy New Yearand give gifts to policy families, poor households, and those in difficult circumstances.

Specifically, the provincial National Assembly delegation gave 80 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to policy families, poor households, and those in difficult circumstances in Hung Tay commune; 60 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to policy families, poor households, and those in difficult circumstances in Hung Yen Nam commune.

Directly presenting Tet gifts from the contributions of National Assembly deputies of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province and through the mobilization and connection of National Assembly deputies with supporting businesses, Major General Tran Duc Thuan visited and shared the difficult and hard circumstances of the families; at the same time, wished the families a warm, joyful, happy Tet and continued to have the will to overcome difficulties and rise up in 2023.

Major General Tran Duc Thuan also affirmed that the movement of "joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" is increasingly developing widely throughout society, especially during each Tet holiday.

Poverty reduction continues to receive attention from the Party, the State, and all levels and sectors in the political system. Every year, large resources are allocated to invest, support, ensure social security, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

Therefore, it is hoped that local Party committees and authorities will continue to effectively implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction; associated with mobilizing resources to support and help the poor and those in difficult circumstances with specific and practical actions to improve their lives.

On this occasion, Major General Tran Duc Thuan also visited, presented gifts and wished a Happy New Year to the Pastoral Council, Dong Son Parish, Hung Yen Nam Commune.
