Vietnamese fans do something special before the AFF Cup 2022 final

At noon on January 16, more than 50 fans from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) traveled to Bangkok to cheer for the Vietnamese team in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2022 final against host Thailand. This group of fans, along with fans from the South and especially Vietnamese people living in Thailand, planned to cheer for Coach Park Hang-seo and his team at Thammsat Stadium tonight.

In particular, the fans brought along peach blossom branches with the hope of bringing their hometown sentiment and Tet atmosphere to encourage the players' spirit, fighting for the national flag and colors to win the AFF Cup championship.

Vietnamese fans are expected to arrive in Bangkok at 1:00 p.m., then travel about 50km to Thammsat Stadium to be on time to cheer.

For this match, the Organizing Committee sold 25,000 tickets, of which about 2,000 tickets were reserved for away fans (8% of the seats). Although they were outnumbered, the Vietnamese fans certainly created a festive atmosphere at Thammasat Stadium to give more strength to Coach Park Hang Seo and his team to win the championship.
