Million dollar actor Thai Hoa and Thu Trang's return to cinema after 2 years
After 2 years of absence from Vietnamese cinema, in 2023, Thai Hoa returned to co-star with Thu Trang in "My Neighborhood Story: The Girl Who Picks Her Husband".

Opening with the plot "when will I get married, I swear to stop drinking", the first look trailer for "My Neighborhood Story: Con Nhot Mot Chong" opens up the conflict in the father-daughter relationship between Mr. Xin (Thai Hoa) and Nhot (Thu Trang), partly depicting the character's portrait and reminding viewers of conflicts in the family.
If you are a movie lover, surely you have not forgotten the dialogue between Thai Hoa and Thu Trang in "Blood Moon Party", therefore, the lively argument between Mr. Xin and his daughter Nhot and the "closing" of the marriage contract is interesting to the audience.
At the same time, this detail also partly shows that the film will exploit the humorous element of Thu Trang and Thai Hoa through the relationship of a father and son who always quarrel but in fact always love each other in a unique way.

According to the film crew, Mr. Xin is a drunkard and has a bad relationship with his daughter. Meanwhile, Nhót cannot get along with her father in both her thoughts and the way she speaks.
The statement “father quits drinking, son gets married” further confirms Nhót’s determination to get his father to give up his “alcohol addiction”. So will Nhót’s plan to get his father married to quit drinking be successful? Where will the father-son relationship between Mr. Xin and Nhót go when the conflict grows bigger and bigger as both of them cling to their egos?
The film is directed by Vu Ngoc Dang - the man who made the success of the work "Bo Gia".
