Thanh Tung and Thanh Khai are disadvantaged communes of Thanh Chuong district. During the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao, in addition to the gifts presented by Nghe An Newspaper and Hoa Hiep Company Limited, the poor people in the two communes received attention and support from agencies and units inside and outside the district. Mr. Phan Van Dung - Chairman of Thanh Tung Commune People's Committee said that on this occasion, Vietcombank Bac Ha Tinh Branch supported Thanh Tung commune with 60 gifts, of which 20 were given to primary school students, 20 were given to secondary school students and 20 were given to people in difficult circumstances in the commune.
