Nghe An recognizes 124 more products achieving provincial OCOP star status
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An has just recognized 124 more products of 98 entities achieving OCOP star at the provincial level in the second phase of 2022. Of which, 121 products achieved 3 stars, 3 products achieved 4 stars.

On January 17, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 156/QD-UBND approving the results of evaluation and classification of products participating in the "One Commune One Product" Program of Nghe An province, phase 2 of 2022.
Accordingly, 124 products were recognized as meeting the standards.OCOP starPhase 2 of 2022. Of which, 121 products achieved 3-star rating and 3 products achieved 4-star rating.
Products that achieved 4-star OCOP rating and were awarded symbolic cups include: Ru Gam Temple - Pagoda spiritual eco-tourism site (Agricultural Service Cooperative of Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District); Tu Phuong veal ham and Tu Phuong sausage (Tu Phuong Food Joint Stock Company, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City).
Products achieving OCOP star rating are granted certificates by the Provincial People's Committee, are allowed to use OCOP stamps and brands, and the achieved star rating is printed on product packaging according to regulations.
Thus, after 4 years of implementing the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program, with the attention and leadership of the central ministries and branches; with the high political determination of the Party Committee and government, the drastic participation of the entire political system from the province to the grassroots, the consensus and response of businesses and people, Nghe An now has 405 products meeting the OCOP standard of 3 stars or higher. Of which, there is 1 product with the potential to reach the National 5-star level and 6 products have been upgraded, ranking 2nd in the country./.
