This pure, cool water source has been an indispensable part of the local people's daily lives for hundreds of years.

This underground water source is known to have existed for a long time. Legend has it that during the 1840s and early 1850s, when the French colonial army was stationed in Nghe An province, they had to travel far and wide, surveying the geology of many areas to find a source of pure groundwater sufficient for drinking water for thousands of soldiers. After some time, the French discovered a sweet, clean groundwater source with abundant reserves in the Thien Nhan mountain range. They then built a water supply system to bring the water directly to their encampment. Since then, they have used this water for daily drinking. Over time, even to this day, this water source is still used by local people and those in neighboring areas as a habit to improve their health and that of their families.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a resident of Khanh Son commune, said: "Decades ago, I followed my parents to Cong Kep stream to fetch water for drinking, and to this day, my family still maintains this tradition. The water here is cool, sweet, and refreshing; people often come to get it for drinking or cooking. The water from Cong Kep stream has been a part of our childhood, sustaining us for generations, and remains unchanged to this day."

According to local people, the water here is very clear, cool, and sweet, suitable for direct drinking without treatment; it's also excellent for brewing rice wine and green tea. Many households have invested heavily in exploiting and commercially exploiting this groundwater source. The number of people buying water each day is large, with families from communes in Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen districts (Nghe An province), Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh province)... located dozens of kilometers away from the water source, and even people from Vinh city, traveling all the way here to buy water for drinking.

Mr. Pham Van Binh, head of Hamlet 11, Khanh Son Commune, where the precious water source is located, said: "The water in Cong Kep stream flows year-round. The hamlet has 272 households with nearly 1,000 residents, most of whom have been using this cool, clean water for decades. Word of its quality has spread far and wide. On some summer days, not only local people but also hundreds of people from other areas come here to queue for water. Some bring plastic bottles, 10-20 liter containers, and even vehicles carrying water tanks for daily use…"

It is known that, to maximize the benefits from nature, Khanh Son commune has invested in pipelines to create one water intake point from Cong Kep stream managed by the commune, and several points where people are allowed to invest in water extraction. The price of water ranges from only 1,000 to 5,000 VND per 20 liters, which is very suitable for the majority of the people. In addition, there are also businesses producing purified water using raw water from Cong Kep stream. Over time, the groundwater source at Cong Kep stream in the Thien Nhan mountain range has become famous throughout the province.

Bringing refreshing water to consumers.

Through research and analysis of groundwater quality in the Cong Kep stream, Thien Nhan mountain range, engineers from the Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Company found that Hamlet 11, Khanh Son commune, Nam Dan district, has the best quality groundwater source with abundant and stable reserves year-round. The terrain in this area has a difference of 6-8 meters between the groundwater level in the mountainous region and the water level in the rice fields at the foot of the mountain.

The Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation invited experts to conduct geological surveys and exploratory drilling for reserves, and also sent samples for quality analysis at leading testing units in Vietnam such as: the Nghe An Center for Technical Standards - Measurement - Quality, the Vietnam Academy of Science, and the Vietnam Institute of Occupational Health and Environment. The analysis results showed that the physicochemical and microbiological indicators were all at very good levels.

With a reliable and abundant water supply, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation has built the Thien Nhan Drinking Water Production Plant based on a fully automated and closed-loop production line (input is plastic bottle preforms, output is finished bottled water), synchronized from the water treatment system to the filling and bottling system. The most modern UF ultrafiltration technology from the US, combined with the transfer of advanced alkaline ion separation technology from Japan, creates high-quality bottled purified drinking water and alkaline ionized water under the IMIZU brand.

According to our research, the IMIZU bottled water production process at the factory utilizes state-of-the-art UF ultrafiltration technology from the United States, creating clean water that meets the highest physicochemical and microbiological standards for drinking water, delivering the best value to consumers. In addition, the factory is equipped with activated carbon filters, sterilization filters, and UV lamps to kill bacteria, along with a fully automated bottling and filling system to ensure the production process meets the strictest food safety and hygiene standards.

The factory currently produces two main product lines: bottled drinking water and bottled alkaline ionized water under the IMIZU brand. These products come in various sizes, including: IMIZU pure water; IMIZU pure water 350ml; IMIZU pure water 500ml; Thien Nhan 19L bottled drinking water; and IMIZU ION alkaline ionized water. These are all high-quality, pure water products, ensuring safety as they are sourced from the renowned Thien Nhan water source and utilize modern, world-class technologies. Despite being relatively new to the market, IMIZU products have been well-received by consumers, increasingly establishing their brand in the pure water market.
