Which outstanding names will be announced?

Both of these elections are related to two different tournaments, the AFF Cup and the V-League, but they are linked together because players who perform well in the V-League will almost certainly have a place, a chance to compete and win titles in the AFF Cup.

However, the two cannot completely "overlap" each other because the nature and level of the two tournaments are completely different in terms of class and duration, so of course the results will be different as seen.

First of all, with the “AFF Cup 2022 Best Team”, the Vietnamese team has 4 players honored including Van Lam, Van Hau, Hoang Duc and Tien Linh. As the “top scorer” of the tournament, of course both Tien Linh and Dangda-Thailand are named in the attack line. As the person who holds the record of keeping a clean sheet from the group stage to the semi-finals, the best goalkeeper position is of course difficult to slip away from Van Lam. The remaining two positions are reserved for Van Hau, right-back and Hoang Duc - midfielder. Unfortunately, Ngoc Hai was not chosen as a central defender because the Thais have the excellent Kritkada, besides Salalak, not to mention a central defender who used to play in La Liga and is now naturalized in Indonesia, Amat, who also plays well. In midfield, unfortunately, Hung Dung cannot compete with Sarack and especially Theerathon of Thailand. But with high confidence, sharp passes and good tactical vision, Hoang Duc's name in the typical squad is worthy, besides Quang Hai's sadness in form is really extremely worrying.

In the shortlist for the 2022 Vietnam Golden Ball award, there are currently 5 names including Van Lam, Hung Dung, Hoang Duc, Tien Linh and Van Quyet. The two names that do not "match" are Hung Dung and Van Quyet, both of Hanoi FC, the national champion and winner of the 2022 National Cup. Promising names such as Ngoc Hai, Quang Hai, Van Duc, Van Hau... were all eliminated for many different reasons, the most important of which is the performance of the team they are playing for or their teammates are better.

It is gratifying that the excellent players who have been honored such as Hung Dung, Hoang Duc or Van Quyet are still maintaining their form. What is even more gratifying is that Vietnamese football has new names that are not new and continue to compete, such as Van Lam or Tien Linh. Although Binh Dinh and Binh Duong have not achieved the expected success, the contributions of the two players mentioned above are very important for the Vietnam National Team in the region and continent, and deserve to be honored in this election!

The names that will be called out here for the Gold, Silver, Bronze titles will be Tien Linh, Hoang Duc, Van Lam?
