Nghe An: Industrial production index in January increased by 8.50%
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the industrial production index in January 2023 is estimated to decrease by 16.95% compared to the previous month and increase by 8.50% over the same period last year.
Of which, the mining industry increased by 26.73%; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 6.96%; the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 12.71%; the supply of water, management and treatment of wastewater and waste is estimated to increase by 51.43% over the same period last year.

The production index in January 2023 of some industries increased significantly compared to the same period last year: Metal production increased by 2.8 times; beverage production increased by 52.21%; chemical and chemical product production increased by 48.99%; production of prefabricated metal products (except machinery and equipment) increased by 22.67%; production of products from other non-metallic minerals increased by 20.32%; production of rubber and plastic products increased by 18.03%; water exploitation, treatment and supply increased by 62.65%.

Some industries had low production growth and decreased compared to the same period last year: Textile decreased by 65.54%; Wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo and rattan (except beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs); production of products from straw, thatch and plaited materials decreased by 63.03%; production of other means of transport decreased by 71.25%; printing and copying of all kinds of records decreased by 17.61%; Production of paper and paper products decreased by 10.86%.
Due to difficulties in product consumption, some facilities have reduced production output.
