(Baonghean.vn) - In the first days of the year, the construction sites of the Coastal Road Project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) are always bustling with machinery and workers. Taking advantage of favorable weather, construction units are speeding up construction progress to ensure the plan.

The coastal road project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) from Km7-Km76 has a total length of 64.47 km, passing through Hoang Mai town, the districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Cua Lo town. Nghi Quang Bridge across Cam River (Nghi Loc) on the coastal route has completed over 80% of the volume. According to the plan, in 2 years (2022 and 2023), the project will be allocated capital of 2,613 billion VND for construction, of which 750 billion VND will be allocated in 2023 (650 billion VND for construction and installation and 100 billion VND for site clearance and other costs). Nghe An strives to complete the construction of the bridges by June 2023 and complete and hand over the coastal road to put into use by the end of 2024. The representative of the Project Management Board, Department of Transport said: To speed up the progress of the project, the Department has continuously established teams to inspect the progress and remove obstacles. Regarding newly arising difficulties, the Department has advised the Provincial People's Committee to direct and request local departments and functional branches to actively and resolutely take part, speed up the progress of site clearance, hand over to the road construction unit and soon complete resettlement and relocation projects to ensure progress.
