Unlike Vietnam, in some countries, people are allowed to learn to drive and participate in traffic before the age of 18.

America

According to Motortrend, US citizens who have never had a driver's license (GPLX) must meet the following conditions: First, they need a provisional instruction permit (or learner's permit), issued to those who are studying to get a driver's license. Some states allow people as young as 14 to apply for a learner's permit, but most require people to be 15 years old or older.

After that, people must complete the number of driving hours required by the state where they apply for a driver's license and pass a driving test.

California State Driver's License Form, USA.

In most states, people as young as 16 can get a restricted license. Depending on the state, this license may not allow you to drive during certain hours or carry passengers.

People aged 18 and over can be issued an unrestricted driving license.

Canada

To obtain a Canadian driver’s license, you must be at least 16 years old, pass an eye exam, and pass a written test on the Traffic Law. You must also take a driving test, depending on local regulations.

For example, in the province of Ontario, citizens must pass a written test to get a G1 license, followed by two driving tests. Passing the first driving test will get a G2 license. To get a G license (the most complete license), you must pass the second driving test.

Mexico

In the North American country of Mexico, learners only need to be 16 years old to drive, however, they cannot be issued a driver's license until they are 18. To obtain a learner's license, people must provide valid identification and documents to prove their place of residence.

After taking a driving course to get an unrestricted driver's license, in addition to being 18 years old, students must pass a written test, a practical test and an eyesight test.

In addition, the person granted a driving license must provide information about his or her blood type.

United Kingdom

The requirements to obtain a driving license in the United Kingdom (consisting of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) are as follows:

UK driving license form.

Applicants for a provisional licence must be aged 15 years and 9 months or older and be able to read number plates from 20 metres away.

Upon reaching the age of 17, learners can attend a driving training course at a licensed driving school and then pass written theoretical and practical tests.

Australia

In Australia, the process from obtaining a learner's permit to obtaining an unrestricted driver's licence takes a total of four years and includes the following steps:

UK driving license form.

To obtain a learner's permit, you must pass a driver's knowledge test, prove your identity, and pass an eyesight test.

Jamaica

Jamaica also has 2 types of driving licenses: temporary and official. Of which, official licenses are divided into 2 types, for manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

The conditions for applying for a temporary license, allowing drivers to participate in traffic under the supervision of a person with an official driving license, include: Being 17 years of age or older; Passing the Traffic Law test.

To be granted an official driver's license, the following requirements must be met:
