Indian Ambassador offers incense at Kim Lien Special National Relic Site
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 20, Mr. Sandeep Arya - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam and members of the Embassy's working delegation visited and offered flowers and incense at the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site.
Accompanying the delegation, on the side of Nghe An province, were comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation expressed their respect to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Vietnamese people. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, tirelessly striving for peace and progress in the world. President Ho Chi Minh was honored by UNESCO as a national liberation hero and an outstanding cultural figure.

Next, the delegation visited President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown and listened to the tour guides explain about President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, family, childhood, life and career.

Also this afternoon, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam and delegates attended the inauguration ceremony of the Green Library Construction Project at Lang Sen Primary School, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District.
The project is funded by the Rapid Effectiveness Fund sponsored by the Embassy of India with a value of 52,000 USD. Currently, the library has more than 800 books in many genres.

The construction of the Green Library has demonstrated its practicality and profound humanity, creating favorable conditions for teachers and students to research and refer to documents conveniently, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, aiming to bring Lang Sen Primary School, Kim Lien Commune to the level II standard of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At the ceremony, representatives of Nam Dan district and Lang Sen Primary School, Kim Lien commune expressed their gratitude for the support of the Indian Embassy and the Ambassador himself. Through this project, the people of Kim Lien commune, including the young generation, will further understand the sentiments of the Government and people of India towards Vietnam, contributing to deepening the relationship between Vietnam and India in many fields./.
