Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee: Administrative reform ensures substance and effectiveness in document consultation

On February 23, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee held its regular February meeting chaired by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung; also attending were members of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee, the Provincial Enterprises Party Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and units.

After listening to reports and discussions at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung concluded on the socio-economic situation in February and key tasks and solutions for March 2023.

In which, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized 6 groups of key tasks and solutions in March 2023:

1. All levels and sectors focus on urgently implementing assigned tasks, not delaying work; promptly deploy key solutions to implement the Socio-Economic Development Plan and State Budget Estimate for 2023; closely follow the growth scenario for management, strive to complete and achieve the highest results of the set goals, targets and plans.

The Working Groups shall implement according to the set plan; review and evaluate the first quarter performance results compared to the growth scenario to update the second quarter and 6-month operating scenario, propose key tasks and solutions to focus on directing to ensure compliance with requirements.

2. Focus on resolving and completing key tasks in March 2023. Including preparing documents to submit to the thematic session of the Provincial People's Council; reviewing the contents to be submitted to the Politburo on summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26, associated with researching and proposing specific mechanisms and policies for Nghe An province; Completing the Provincial Planning dossier for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050...

3. Implement the state budget revenue and expenditure estimates; urge drastic implementation of solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital and implementation of national target programs.

4. Focus on directing cultural and social fields: Focus on medical examination and treatment, health care for people; Proactively prepare to organize cultural, festival and sports activities; Focus on directing tasks for the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year; deploy tasks in mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties...

5. Promote administrative reform and digital transformation; strengthen administrative discipline and order.

In particular, it requires all levels and sectors to promote administrative reform to ensure substance and effectiveness in document consultation. Continue to promote the role and responsibility of leaders in directing administrative reform at each agency and unit.

The Provincial People's Committee Office continues to evaluate the results of work handling of departments and branches to ensure completeness and quality according to Official Dispatch No. 518 of the Provincial People's Committee. The Department of Information and Communications presides over and proactively urges the implementation of the 2023 Digital Transformation Plan to ensure quality and progress.

6. The Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, and Provincial Border Guard Command continue to monitor the situation, ensure national defense, security, and social order and safety.

The Provincial Military Command coordinated to organize a scientific seminar to celebrate the 110th birthday of General Chu Huy Man; advised the Provincial Steering Committee to conduct drills on defense areas, flood and storm prevention, and search and rescue in 2023 for units.

Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee, the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, and the Strategy for Nghe An tourism development to 2030, with a vision to 2035.
