Searching the residence of 4 female flight attendants carrying more than 11kg of drugs from France to Vietnam

Regarding the case of 4 flight attendants of Vietnam Airlines illegally transporting more than 11.48 kg of drugs from France to Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency is still working and taking statements.

Ho Chi Minh City authorities also carried out a search warrant at the residence of the four female flight attendants and found no drugs. Currently, these flight attendants have not been charged.prosecuteand the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the behavior.

Previously, on March 16, the Import Luggage Procedures Team (Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch) carried out customs procedures for the crew members of flight VN10 of Vietnam Airlines from France to Vietnam and discovered that the luggage of 4 female flight attendants in the crew was suspected of containing drugs.

Through luggage inspection, the authorities discovered more than 11kg of drugs disguised in toothpaste tubes. Specifically, the luggage of the VTQ flight attendant contained a total of 3.18kg of drugs; the luggage of the TTTN flight attendant contained 0.78kg of drugs; the luggage of the NTT flight attendant contained 3.18kg and the D.PV flight attendant contained 4kg.

The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) of Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with the Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch to investigate and handle the case according to their authority.

The Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department affirmed that the discovery of the case was not accidental. The unit based on intelligence information, customs control operations, suspicious signs about the route, key subjects, and information collection results, from which the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department directed the case to be solved./.
