Over 2,000 entries were submitted to a contest exploring the 60-year history of Que Phong district.
(Baonghean.vn) - Launched in November 2022, the competition "Learning about the history of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Que Phong district (April 19, 1963 - April 19, 2023)" has attracted 2,376 entries at the district and grassroots levels.
The content focuses on understanding the history of the formation and development of Que Phong district, the Que Phong District Party Committee; the landmarks, historical relics, and distinctive cultural features and fine traditions of Que Phong; the contributions of the Party Committee and people of Que Phong district to the national resistance wars and the defense of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; the outstanding achievements in all fields of Que Phong district after 60 years of construction and development; the direction and goals of Que Phong district's development in the 2020-2025 period; and collecting and supplementing information and documents on the history of the formation and development of Que Phong district.

Contestants had to answer questions posed by the Organizing Committee in written form. According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Que, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Que Phong District Party Committee and Head of the Judging Panel: The competition attracted the participation of a large number of officials, Party members, students, armed forces personnel, and people from all walks of life in the district, as well as residents of Que Phong district living and studying outside the district.

Many entries were meticulously prepared and heartfelt, with over 200 pages, full-color illustrations, and elegant hardcover binding. From 2,376 entries at the district and grassroots levels, the organizing committee selected 600 entries for the next round of judging.
The Outstanding Team Award went to the Party Committee of the Party and Mass Organizations; the award for the team with the most entries went to Que Phong High School.
Individually, there were 16 awards, including 10 Consolation Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 2 Second Prizes. The First Prize of the competition went to Mr. Vi Văn Thi - an officer of the District Party Committee's Organization Department, a Party member belonging to the Party Committee of the Party and Mass Organizations.
