Transfer fixed passenger transport vehicles currently operating at Vinh Market Bus Station to operate at other bus stations
(Baonghean.vn) - After April 30, 2023, if the transport business unit and vehicle owner have not transferred the vehicle to operate at other bus stations in Vinh city and neighboring areas, the vehicle will be terminated.
Implementing the direction of the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Official Dispatch No. 9369/UBND-CN dated November 25, 2022 on the policy of terminating the operation of the passenger bus station at Vinh Market Bus Station in April 2023, on December 5, 2022, the Department of Transport of Nghe An issued Decision No. 838/QD-SGTVT on terminating the operation of the passenger bus station at Vinh Market Bus Station and Official Dispatch No. 4345/SGTVT-VT dated December 19, 2022 on transferring fixed passenger transport routes currently operating at Vinh Market Bus Station to operate at bus stations in Vinh city and Hung Nguyen district.
On March 13, 2023, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company issued Document No. 33/VT-BXNA requesting the Nghe An Department of Transport to remove some difficulties and obstacles in the construction of the Southern bus station of Vinh city, including the content that due to the unit's difficulties and obstacles in the procedures for connecting the Southern bus station of Vinh city to the traffic road, it is expected that the time to complete the connection procedures will be prolonged, so by April 30, 2023, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company has not completed the procedures to put the Southern bus station of Vinh city into operation as committed to the Nghe An Department of Transport.
To ensure that transportation activities take place continuously, stably, and without interruption in production and business of transportation business units, in order to better serve the travel needs of passengers when the bus station at Vinh Market Bus Station ceases operation in accordance with the direction of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, on April 7, 2023, the Department of Transport issued Official Dispatch No. 4103 /SGTVT-VT on transferring fixed passenger transport vehicles currently operating at Vinh Market Bus Station to operate at other bus stations in Vinh city and neighboring areas.
The Department of Transport requested Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company to speed up construction progress to soon put the southern bus station of Vinh city into operation under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Transport.
At the same time, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company needs to continue to disseminate and propagate on the loudspeaker system of Vinh Market Bus Station to transport businesses, vehicle owners as well as passengers about the policy of terminating the operation of the passenger bus station at Vinh Market Bus Station on April 30, 2023 and the policy of transferring all passenger transport vehicles (including inter-provincial fixed-route vehicles and intra-provincial fixed-route vehicles) currently operating at Vinh Market Bus Station to operate at other bus stations in Vinh city and neighboring areas.
The Department of Transport also requested transport businesses and vehicle owners with vehicles operating passenger transport at Vinh Market Bus Station to urgently request the Department of Transport that is issuing fixed-route vehicle badges of the unit to transfer the vehicles to operate at other bus stations in Vinh city and neighboring areas before April 30, 2023 (according to the review and report of Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company, currently the Northern bus station of Vinh city will receive all passenger transport vehicles operating at Vinh Market Bus Station, maintaining the same departure time and frequency of vehicles).
After April 30, 2023, if the transport business unit and vehicle owner have not transferred the vehicle to operate at other bus stations in Vinh city and neighboring areas, the vehicle will be terminated and will not participate in fixed-route passenger transport activities.
The Department of Transport will not be responsible for the termination of passenger transport business operations of units that do not comply with the direction of the Nghe An Department of Transport.
