Comrade Pham Minh Tuan holds the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Communist Magazine.

On the morning of April 18, the Editorial Board of Communist Magazine held a conference to implement the Secretariat's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Secretariat decided that comrade Pham Minh Tuan would cease to hold the position of Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth; and transfer and appoint him to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief, in charge of the Communist Magazine.

Handing over the decision and delivering the assignment speech, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Mai Van Chinh said that Comrade Pham Minh Tuan is a young cadre who has undergone a process of studying, training, and fostering in many majors: Law, journalism, political science, publishing...; and has held many teaching, leadership, and management positions, including many important positions.

Regardless of his position or title, comrade Pham Minh Tuan always tries his best, excellently completes his tasks, makes important contributions to the development of the agency, unit, and contributes to the cause of the Party and State.

Comrade Mai Van Chinh believes that with his extensive working experience, Comrade Pham Minh Tuan will continue to promote his achievements and, together with the Communist Magazine team, strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Mai Van Chinh requested Comrade Pham Minh Tuan and the collective of the Communist Review to continue to maintain the magazine's identity as the Party's ideological flag; continue to promote advantages and strengths, overcome difficulties and challenges to fulfill assigned functions and tasks; closely combine theoretical research and practical summarization with propaganda and publishing work, taking research quality as the basis to improve theoretical and combative qualities; aim to periodically build theoretical consulting reports to serve the Central Committee.

At the same time, build writers with a brand worthy of the Communist Magazine; promote digital transformation, increase the application of modern technology, and meet requirements quickly and promptly.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Pham Minh Tuan expressed his thanks to the Secretariat and the leadership of the Communist Magazine Editorial Board for entrusting him with the task and promised to always be exemplary, try hard, and work hard, together with the magazine's leadership, cadres, civil servants, and employees to continue the tradition, maintain its role and position, and develop steadily.

Comrade Pham Minh Tuan was born on January 16, 1974; hometown: Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi; professional qualifications: Bachelor of Journalism, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of Political Science.

Before being transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Communist Magazine, comrade Pham Minh Tuan held the position of Director of the Regional Political Academy II under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (from April 2016 to December 2020), then held the position of Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth (from January 2021 to April 2023).

Previously, at the end of March 2023, the Politburo decided that comrade Doan Minh Huan - member of the Party Central Committee, would cease to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine; transfer and appoint him to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term./.
