Mr. Tran Van Toan - Chairman of Tan Long Commune People's Committee said: After handling the landslide and hanging rock points on the mountain top, from the beginning of 2023 until now, the traffic management unit has installed stone gabions and reinforced steel mesh on the landslide section (National Highway 48E through Tan Long Commune, Tan Ky District) to prevent soil and rock from spilling onto the road when heavy rain occurs.

According to the design of the stone embankment, the steel-reinforced area is nearly 100 meters long, 4.3 meters high, with drainage ditches arranged, surrounding the landslide area.

Mr. Tran Van Toan added: Due to the rugged terrain, during the rainy season, this area is still at risk of landslides, so vehicles passing through here need to be careful and vigilant.
