While swimming in the river, the man drowned.
(Baonghean.vn) - At 9:10 PM on April 21st, the Fire and Rescue Team of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department found the drowning victim in Do Luong district.
According to reports, in the early afternoon of the same day, Mr. Nguyen Cong V (born in 1952), residing in Thai Son commune, Do Luong district, went swimming in the Khuon River and did not return by late afternoon. Locals found his bicycle and hat on the bank at Dong Rao bridge, Thai Son commune.

Suspecting something was wrong, and along with mobilizing people to search, the family sought assistance from the authorities. After receiving the report at 8:16 PM, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Province directed Team 5 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force to quickly mobilize vehicles and personnel to the scene and begin searching for the victim.
After an hour, the victim was found, about 100 meters from where the car was parked.
Authorities have now completed the procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for burial.
