Man drowned while swimming in river
(Baonghean.vn) - At 9:10 p.m. on April 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Province found a drowning victim in Do Luong District.
According to information, in the early afternoon of the same day, Mr. Nguyen Cong V (born in 1952), residing in Thai Son commune, Do Luong district, went swimming in Khuon river and did not return until late afternoon. People discovered his bicycle and hat on the shore at Dong Rao bridge, Thai Son commune.

Suspecting something was wrong, along with mobilizing people to search, the family asked for support from the authorities. After receiving the news at 20:16, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Police directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team No. 5 to mobilize vehicles and forces to quickly arrive at the scene and search for the victim.
After 1 hour, the victim was found, about 100m from the parking lot.
Currently, the authorities have completed the procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for burial.
