(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25th, at the Provincial Traditional Arts Center, the Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports organized the opening ceremony of a folk song training course for Nghe Tinh folk song clubs in the province in 2023.

Attending the opening ceremony were leaders from the Department of Culture and Sports, leaders from the Culture-Sports and Communication Centers of the districts, cities, and towns with participating trainees, and nearly 150 trainees from districts, cities, and towns in the province.

Folk song training class for clubs.Ví and Giặm folk songsThe Nghe Tinh program is organized with the aim of guiding and teaching folk songs to artisans and club members; and fostering and improving the ability to write and stage folk song performances for talented authors and artisans.

This helps the clubs operate sustainably, develop the strengths of each member, spread folk songs to every home and every village, and work towards the long-term goal of returning folk songs to the people. The class also provides an environment for students to meet, interact, and share their knowledge about the Vi and Giam folk song heritage and how to preserve and promote this heritage in community life.

Over the course of three days (April 25-27), participants will discuss six topics: Preservation and promotion of Nghe Tinh folk songs (Vi and Giam).tourism productsCharacteristic culture; Overview of Nghe Tinh folk songs; Practice of some folk song melodies (Vi and Giam); Compilation and staging of performances; Practice in building songs and scenes, and methods for developing adapted melodies in Nghe Tinh folk songs.

Upon completion of the training program, participants will receive a certificate.
