To make Cua Lo beach town even more beautiful

The coastal town has undergone many positive changes. Cua Lo beach remains beautiful, with fine white sand, clear blue water, and gentle waves. The shops along the beach have been cleared, making the beach area feel more spacious, airy, and clean. Walking on the sand is very pleasant, allowing you to clearly feel the harmony with nature; there is no longer the cramped, suffocating feeling caused by the hustle and bustle of the shops as before.

Cua Lo is developing in the right direction as a modern coastal town. The town has built many beautiful scenic spots and photo opportunities. Infrastructure is becoming increasingly modern and convenient. The hotel system is dense, comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Seafood is delicious and reasonably priced, and restaurants are being built to be large, beautiful, clean, and offer better service.

This was my first time visiting Cua Lo, and I was very impressed with this seaside town. Firstly, the food was delicious, the seafood was very fresh and suited the tastes of tourists from the North. Secondly, the people here are very polite, friendly, and hospitable. Thirdly, the beach here is long and wide, with clear, clean water; much cleaner than many other beach destinations I've visited before. I think my family and I will definitely come to Cua Lo many more times.

Besides that, Cua Lo still has some points to note. Currently, the entire town resembles a large construction site. Hopefully, Cua Lo will speed up construction and complete projects soon. Older tourists still want to visit some historical and cultural sites, but it seems that these sites are not yet ready to satisfy this need... During the tourist season, Cua Lo should organize some traditional cultural activities each week for tourists to participate in and explore.

Compared to other coastal tourist destinations in Ha Tinh, Cua Lo is much more developed, modern, convenient, and lively. However, compared to major coastal tourist destinations in the country such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Vung Tau, Cua Lo is not as impressive… Nevertheless, I think each place has its own unique characteristics, attractions, and appeal. Cua Lo is a great place for tourists to come for relaxation and beach activities.

Regarding tourism in Cua Lo, I only have three small suggestions: The beach environment needs more attention; there are still some areas with trash and not clean enough. All shops and restaurants need to publicly and clearly display prices to avoid potential price gouging. The beach area needs more benches for tourists to rest.

Cua Lo is currently enjoying many advantages: Current climate change means winters are no longer excessively cold, and the rainy season is less intense. People no longer wait until summer to travel and have a desire to travel year-round.

What Cua Lo needs to do is increase connectivity, create synergy, and boost communication and promotion. This connectivity includes linking Cua Lo tourism with tourism in other localities within and outside the province; linking Nghe An tourism with tourism in other provinces and cities (especially those with international airports); linking Cua Lo tourism products with cultural and sports events in Nghe An, nationally, and internationally; and connecting Cua Lo tourism with travel agencies. Synchronization is demonstrated by Cua Lo launching a major campaign to maintain tourism workforce and provide services throughout the off-season. This campaign should be implemented continuously for 1-3 years, with the participation of all businesses.

Furthermore, Cua Lo needs clear policies to stimulate tourism during the off-season, focusing communication and promotion efforts on all tourism and travel agencies nationwide.

To further develop tourism in Cua Lo, the Nghe An Tourism Department has held meetings with the town to identify, orient, and implement solutions such as: strengthening state management; upgrading and beautifying the urban area; ensuring security and order; improving the quality of accommodation services; communication and promotion; attracting investors to build high-class tourism products; promoting linkages between tourism products, between Cua Lo and tourism units, and with localities inside and outside the province to create diverse destinations, increase the number of tourists, extend their length of stay, and increase the use of services.

However, the success of tourism is built upon the success of other sectors. Therefore, for Cua Lo tourism to develop, it needs more support from all levels, sectors, and localities. The tourism sector has been and is currently proposing to all levels and sectors to soon approve the 1/500 scale planning for the area east of Binh Minh road to promptly implement construction projects, creating new highlights; and to expedite the implementation of approved key tourism projects such as phase 2 of Vinpearl Cua Hoi, projects in western Nghe An, and in Nam Dan. This will create a link between Cua Lo tourism and other high-class tourism products.
