Series of cars from popular to luxury launched in the second quarter of 2023
The second quarter of 2023 is the period when car manufacturers begin to launch important products. Many new car models are scheduled to be launched in May, from the popular segment to luxury cars.
In particular, BMW i7 is a completely new model in the Vietnamese market while Mercedes GLC or Toyota Vios are upgraded versions.
Toyota Vios and Wigo 2023
Toyota Vietnam will launch the new generation Vios facelift and Wigo around the end of May. Before that, Toyota dealers also started accepting deposits for the new Vios 2023 and Wigo models.
According to images of the Vios 2023 that were caught in Vietnam, Toyota may only bring to the Vietnamese market a facelift version - a life cycle upgrade. If so, the Vios 2023 in Vietnam will only have the front end and rims changed. No longer the traditional grille, the Vios 2023 has a "closed" radiator like an electric car.
For Wigo, this is the return of the A-class car model after a period of absence in the Vietnamese market. Overcoming many shortcomings of the old generation, Wigo 2023 is expected to be more successful in sales.

The design of the 2023 Wigo is neutral due to the influence of the Avanza/Veloz with an extended lower grille and rearward-swept headlights. This model is also upgraded in terms of equipment with LED lights, newly designed 14-inch rims, electronic clock, and larger central screen.
The engine on the 2023 Wigo still has a capacity of 1.2L but is a 3-cylinder type and the gearbox has also been upgraded to a CVT type. Most likely, the Wigo in Vietnam is also equipped with the TSS safety package similar to the Indonesian version.
New generation BMW 7-Series
Belonging to the 7th generation, the 2023 BMW 7-Series has a completely new design, different from the previous generation. The most prominent is the oversized radiator grille, which occupies most of the front of the car. The front lights are designed separately, including the positioning light strip above and the main light placed lower. The positioning light cluster is made of Swarovski crystals with 14 LED bulbs. The taillights are still slim with a chrome strip creating an accent above.
The 7-Series interior is quite modern with the BMW Interaction Bar stretching across the dashboard, a 14.9-inch curved screen and a 5.5-inch touch screen placed on the door. This secondary screen allows passengers to adjust the air conditioning system, seat position, etc.

The petrol versions of the 7-Series can use turbocharged 6-cylinder and V8 engines, producing 375 horsepower and 535 horsepower. The i7 version uses two electric motors located on the two axles, producing a total of 536 horsepower and 744 Nm of torque. The 101.7 kWh battery pack provides a range of 483 km on a full charge.
New generation Mercedes-Benz GLC
The GLC high-chassis vehicle line will be the opening vehicle line for Mercedes in 2023. Many Mercedes dealers have accepted deposits for the new generation GLC. This SUV model is expected to be introduced in May and begin delivering cars from July this year. The GLC 300 will be launched first with an imported version with an expected price of nearly 3 billion VND, before being assembled domestically.
Compared to the previous generation, the 2023 GLC has been refined from head to toe. The grille is the only detail that remains the same from the previous generation. The chrome bar inside the grille has wider slots while the front bumper has more accents. The daylight outside the main light now has only one border above.

The interior of the 2023 GLC is completely different from the old generation and has a layout quite similar to the C-Class. The double-spoke steering wheel, floating digital clock and 11.9-inch central screen are new features of the GLC.
In foreign markets, the GLC 200 has 227 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque, while the GLC 300 has 281 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
