At the meeting with voters, Comrade Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province reported on the expected content and program of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of the province after the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly to date; key tasks in the coming time; results of handling some opinions and recommendations of voters and people in the area before and after the 4th session.

Accordingly, the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to open on May 22, 2023 and close on June 23, 2023 in the form of gathering at the National Assembly House.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 8 draft laws and 2 resolutions. The National Assembly will also discuss and give opinions on 8 other draft laws. Along with that, the National Assembly will consider socio-economic issues, the state budget, supervise important issues; conduct questions and answers; personnel work; consider and decide on a number of other important issues.

At the conference, local voters expressed their excitement that the opinions and recommendations of voters in the province had been answered and resolved by competent authorities.

Before the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, voters of Keng Du commune, Ky Son district proposed to the National Assembly Delegation a number of related issues such as: proposing to soon allocate land, combined with allocating forests to households for management, production and livestock raising; soon starting the asphalting of roads from Huoi Tu commune to Keng Du commune; having solutions to overcome the shortage of clean water for daily life and public works in the area; soon relocating people from areas at risk of landslides and flash floods in Huoi Cang village (Keng Du); paying attention to recruiting children of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas and arranging stable jobs after graduation.

In addition, voters of Keng Du commune also recommended that there should be a plan to soon resolve difficulties and problems related to protective forests in the construction of the national power grid to serve people's daily life and production.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, Comrade Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, Deputy of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation acknowledged, received, explained and informed about a number of contents and issues of concern to voters. For opinions under the jurisdiction of the Central Government, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will receive and synthesize them fully to send to the National Assembly and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution according to regulations.
