Musician Quoc Trung speaks out about selling villa for 'Monsoon Festival'
Musician Quoc Trung confessed that he is not rich, and his parents did not leave him any assets, so he is not rich enough to sell his villa every year to hold the "Monsoon Music Festival".
CrewMonsoon International Music Festival-Monsoon Music Festival 2023just held a press conference. Accordingly, many new points of the program were revealed.
"With the mission of being a new source of inspiration in the field of creative culture, the Monsoon International Music Festival has officially become a cultural event of Hanoi City. Thereby, the development of the city festival model appears for the first time in Vietnam," musician Quoc Trung shared.
Monsoon Music Festival 2023will be a space for Vietnamese and international artists to create a festive atmosphere for the community, a cultural brand for Hanoi "Creative City" in the UNESCO Creative Cities network.
At the meeting, the press asked:Musician Quoc Trung's wife still complains that every year to organize the Monsoon Music Festival, he has to sell a villa. Have you sold any this year?
"This is probably a funny story that women tell each other. Saying this makes you think I'm so rich, always having villas to sell. I only have one house that I live in, my parents left me nothing. I have some savings from the company, but the past few years of the pandemic have been very difficult. However, this program is non-profit, mainly for the community, so we still try to do it, hoping we won't have to sell the house (laughs) and lose money," musician Quoc Trung shared.

Since 2023,Monsoon Music FestivalBringing a new form of organization - a 10-day city music festival model (from October 14-22, 2023); more than 40 domestic and international artists/bands participating; more than 70 performances and nearly 4,000 minutes of music immersion, spreading a festival atmosphere throughout Hanoi.
Musician Quoc Trung said that this year, Monsoon takes the theme of Hang Nhac Street - inspired by the names of the 36 streets of Hanoi.
