Nghe An launches a movement for the whole population to learn to swim and prevent drowning
(Baonghean.vn) - Through this activity, we aim to minimize the risks of drowning and injuries from ponds, lakes, rivers and streams, while promoting the movement of the whole population participating in sports to improve health.
On May 13, at the Center for Culture - Sports and Communication of Thanh Chuong district, the Department of Culture & Sports and the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district held a launching ceremony for the movement "All people practice swimming and prevent drowning in 2023" in mountainous areas.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Education and Training and 11 mountainous districts and towns of Nghe An province, along with nearly 600 officials, teachers and students of schools in Thanh Chuong district.

At the ceremony, delegates heard the launching speech of the representative of the Department of Culture and Sports, the commitment of the representative of the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district representing the localities to seriously implement the plan of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on launching and organizing widely, effectively and substantially the movement for the whole population to practice swimming to prevent drowning in 2023.
