In the sacred atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh.

In 2022, although the implementation process still has difficulties and challenges, combined with the complicated and unstable world situation affecting the country, with high determination, the spirit of innovation, creativity and flexibility of the political system and the people and the business community, Nghe An province has achieved many positive results; there are many bright spots in economic, cultural and social development.

The province's economic scale ranks 10th in the country. The economic growth rate remains quite good, reaching 9.08% in 2022, ranking 22nd in the country; budget revenue for the first time exceeded the 20,000 billion VND mark, reaching nearly 22,000 billion VND. Foreign investment attraction reached approximately 1 billion USD.

The whole province currently has 309/411 communes (75.18%) meeting new rural standards; 9 district-level units have completed the task of building and meeting new rural standards. Some areas have gradually become the center of the North Central region, such as: Health, Education and Training, Finance - Banking...

The cultural and social fields and social security assurance continue to receive attention and direction. The material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved. National defense and security continue to be maintained, social order and safety are ensured, and foreign relations are strengthened and expanded.

The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels have been enhanced; the government and organizations in the political system have made many innovations, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their operations. The great national unity bloc and the people's trust in the provincial political system have been increasingly consolidated.

In 2023, Nghe An will continue to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement programs, projects and plans to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress; the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2021-2025; coordinate with the Central Steering Committee to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 26 of the Politburo; continue to specify specific mechanisms and policies for the province's development.

In the first quarter of 2023, the province's gross domestic product growth rate reached 7.75%, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. Nghe An continued to be in the top 10 localities with the highest total registered foreign investment capital in the country, ranking first in the North Central and Central Coast regions in the first 4 months of the year.

In particular, in early 2023, the province launched a meaningful program, which is to mobilize support for building and repairing houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the province, which has received strong response from all levels, sectors, organizations, individuals, business communities and people inside and outside the province to join hands to care for and help the poor and people in difficult circumstances.

Proud to be the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province are determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, continue to build the province to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improved.
