On the morning of May 24, Nghe An Department of Science and Technology, Vietnam Horticulture Promotion and Services Center organized a workshop to summarize the topic "Application of Vi Nong multi-purpose Biogas invention to build a model for treating livestock waste and organic waste in Nghe An".

Starting from 2020, the Vietnam Horticulture Promotion and Services Center in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology deployed the application of the multi-purpose Biogas invention in the treatment of livestock waste and organic waste in Thanh Chuong district.

During 3 years of implementation, the project has trained 25 technical masons in Thanh Chuong district in 4 batches; trained 6 groups of biogas masons in 4 communes with 23 technicians and technical workers; built 33 biogas masons with a total volume of 347m3.3. Including: Thanh Hoa: 13 tunnels, Cat Van: 9 tunnels, Thanh Lam: 5 tunnels, Phong Thinh: 6 tunnels.

Multi-purpose biogas models operate on the principle of recirculation, effectively treating livestock waste, household organic waste, household organic agricultural waste; have high operating efficiency, overcoming the disadvantages of current biogas tank models.

From there, it helps to maximize waste treatment, develop livestock farming based on sustainable circular livelihoods, increase income, contribute to improving production efficiency and improving the rural environment; contribute to perfecting the criteria in the national target program "Building new rural areas".

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the application; assessing the feasibility of replicating the model...
