Prosecuted 3 subjects for deforestation in Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - Regarding the deforestation case in Sub-area 366C, Muong Long Commune, Ky Son District, the Investigation Police Agency (IPA) of Ky Son District Police (Nghe An) has prosecuted 3 suspects for the crime of "Violating regulations on exploitation and protection of forests and forest products".
During a forest inspection on March 21 at Sub-area 366C, Muong Long commune, Ky Son district, authorities discovered 8 trees had been cut down with a total volume of about 30m3wood. To thoroughly deal with violations of the law, Ky Son District Police have established a special project to combat them.

After a period of verification and investigation, on May 19, Ky Son District Police successfully broke the case, prosecuting 3 defendants including Va Giong Lau (born 1974), Va No Va (born 1972), both residing in Muong Long Commune, Ky Son District and Moong Van Hoa (born 1979), residing in Nhon Mai Commune, Tuong Duong District for the crime of "Violating regulations on forest exploitation and protection and forest products" according to Point D, Clause 1, Article 232 of the Penal Code.
At the same time, issue a Detention Order and an Arrest Order for Va Giong Lau and Va No Va; issue an Order prohibiting them from leaving their place of residence and applying temporary measures.Departure postponementfor Moong Van Hoa.
The Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District is continuing to fight and expand the project to thoroughly handle the subjects in accordance with the provisions of the law.
