Coach Huy Hoang: I have a headache about Song Lam Nghe An's defense

On the evening of June 1, Song Lam Nghe An suffered a heavy defeat to Viettel FC in the 10th round of V.League 2023. With this defeat, Nghe An team sank to the bottom of the rankings with only 9 points, ranked 11th and only 4 points ahead of the bottom team Da Nang.

Speaking at the press conference after the match, coach Huy Hoang said:
"I have a headache about the defense, it's still individual and systemic errors. The team needs to overcome this pressure and fix the defense, we have to play with all our might.
When losing by 1 goal, the defense made many mistakes. Song Lam Nghe An players are young and did not deploy well, while Viettel has quality and defended in large numbers.

Meanwhile, Viettel with this victory temporarily rose to 7th place. Coach Thach Bao Khanh said: "We deployed the ball, kept the ball, controlled it without losing energy and waited for the opportunity for Song Lam Nghe An to reveal gaps in the defense. The whole team followed the tactics set out by the coaching staff, the spirit was great.

The 3-0 win helped Viettel gain 14 points after 10 matches, ranking 7th on the V.League 2023 rankings.
