(Baonghean.vn) - After holding the ceremony to announce the Competitiveness Index of Departments, Branches and Districts (abbreviated as DDCI), Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center organized the distribution of DDCI survey forms for 2022 to enterprises, cooperatives and business households.

The total number of ballots issued to survey and investigate Nghe An's DDCI index in 2022 includes 2,000 samples, conducted in two forms: direct questioning and online, sent to 3,000 enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the province.

According to Decision No. 1291/QD-UBND dated May 12, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee approving the DDCI Index Set in 2022, Nghe An includes DDCI of departments, branches, sectors and district-level DDCI. In particular, DDCI of departments and sectors has 8 component indexes: market entry, licensing activities and administrative procedures; transparency and accessibility to information; cost of time for administrative procedures and compliance with legal regulations; informal costs; fair competition; dynamism and pioneering; production and business support activities and institutional effectiveness. The 9th component index of the local DDCI is access to land and at the same time assesses the "security and order" aspect in ensuring security and order, a safe investment and business environment.

The process of surveying and investigating the competitiveness index of departments, branches and districts in Nghe An was announced by the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center in coordination with VCCI - Nghe An Branch; invited an independent consulting unit, Economica Vietnam Company, the Provincial Statistics Office to conduct the survey, send samples, synthesize and evaluate.

To ensure the objectiveness of the assessment results, the survey and investigation information will be kept confidential and the results will be sent to an independent consulting unit for assessment and publication according to the DDCI Index Methodology approved by the Provincial People's Committee./.
