Entering the 10th grade entrance exam, although it is inevitable to be worried, the candidates are quite confident. Candidate Hoang Thi Mai - a student at Nghi Kieu Secondary School said: My most recent mock exam got 18.5 points and I think if I can maintain this score, my chance of passing will be very high. I hope that today's exam is quite easy, focusing on the parts that I have focused on to get a good score.

Meanwhile, candidate Nguyen Thi Na - Nghi Van Secondary School said that "I am quite confident with Literature because this is the subject I have reviewed the most. However, I am quite worried about Math and Foreign Language".

Before the candidates entered the exam, the Examination Council of Nghi Loc 5 High School also met, assigned tasks and once again reminded the invigilators to follow the exam regulations.

Talking about this year's exam, teacher Dang Van Ky - Principal of the school - Chairman of the Examination Council of Nghi Loc 5 High School said: This year our school has 378 candidates and nearly 400 candidates registered for the exam. Objectively, the admission rate this year is very high, over 90%.

However, this year, the Department of Education and Training has a policy of allowing candidates to change their preferences after the exam, so it is difficult to predict accurately. It is possible that after completing the 10th grade entrance exam, more candidates from other examination councils will change their preferences to the school, and thus, the admission rate will change.

Across the province, this year there were 39,000 candidates taking the exam at 69 examination councils. In the first exam session, after the candidates were called into the exam room, the invigilators also disseminated the exam regulations to the candidates, avoiding violations of the regulations. At the exam site of the Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2, this year there were nearly 500 candidates taking the exam, the competition rate was quite high when the school only had 210 quotas.

This candidate also said that before the official exam, he had taken the test 3 times, the first 2 times the results were not good, the third time the score was a little higher so he was quite confident. Therefore, in this exam, he will try to do well on the test to have a chance to be admitted to the school.
