Bathing in Lam River, 7th grade male student drowned
(Baonghean.vn) - A tragic drowning incident just occurred on Lam River. The victim was Nguyen Duc H. (14 years old), residing in Khanh Son Commune, Nam Dan District.
According to locals, on the afternoon of June 8, H. and some friends in the neighborhood invited each other to go swimming in Lam River.

While bathing, H. drowned. When his friends could not save him, he ran home to call his family for help.
At about 3:45 p.m., about an hour after the drowning incident, people recovered the child's body right at the river where the accident occurred.
It is known that H. is the eldest son in a family of 2 brothers. He is currently a 7th grade student at Khanh Son Secondary School (Nam Dan).
Upon receiving the news that his son had drowned, his father, who works in Lam Dong, was on his way home.
