According to a telegram sent by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Russia Day, North Korea expressed its full support and solidarity with the Russian people defending their sovereignty and future, and wished them prosperity and victory.
"Currently, the struggle of the Russian people against the growing threats and challenges from hostile forces seeking to undermine the sovereignty, security, and peaceful life of the country is entering a new and crucial stage," the North Korean state news agency KCNA quoted Kim Jong-un as saying.
