(Baonghean.vn) - Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department as Head of the delegation visited and inquired about the commune police officers who died or were injured while on duty at the commune police headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.

On June 12, 2023, at the families of the fallen commune police officers, the Nghe An Provincial Police Delegation expressed their condolences and sympathies for the painful losses of the relatives and families of the four comrades.

The delegation visited, encouraged and supported the families of the 4 officers and soldiers who died, each family receiving 20 million VND. The delegation also visited and encouraged the spirit and provided material support to the 2 injured police officers so that they could soon stabilize and recover their health (10 million VND each). The above amount was donated by officers and soldiers of Nghe An Police to the families and relatives of the police officers who died and were injured while on duty, with the hope of sharing and somewhat easing the pain and loss.

As reported, in the early morning of June 11, 2023, a group of people used guns and other dangerous weapons to attack and destroy the headquarters of the People's Committee and the offices of the police of 2 communes of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province. As a result, 4 commune police officers were sacrificed; 2 commune officers, 3 people were killed and 2 commune police officers were seriously injured. Immediately after the incident, under the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the leaders of the Dak Lak Provincial Police directed the functional forces to urgently coordinate to both verify, investigate, and arrest the subjects, and overcome the consequences of the incident to stabilize the security and order situation in the area.

It is known that on the afternoon of June 12, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the provincial leaders and the Dak Lak Provincial Police also directed the functional departments to urgently carry out procedures to recognize the martyrs for the 4 commune police officers who sacrificed, to provide war invalids for the 2 injured commune police officers and to properly implement policies for the deceased commune officials and people according to regulations.

Previously (June 11), General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote the ranks of four officers and soldiers of the Commune Police who died while on duty in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, the Minister of Public Security decided to posthumously promote the rank from Captain to Major for comrade Hoang Trung (born in 1981), hometown: Nghi Loc, Nghe An, police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Captain for comrade Nguyen Dang Nhan (born in 1994), hometown: Yen Thanh, Nghe An, police officer of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Major for comrade Tran Quoc Thang (born in 1989), hometown: Thach Ha, Ha Tinh, police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Captain for comrade Ha Tuan Anh (born in 1991), hometown: Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa, police officer of Ea Tieu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.

At the same time, in the afternoon of the same day, Minister To Lam, Chairman of the Management Board of the People's Police Comradeship Fund, also signed a decision to support 100 million VND/family for the families of 4 comrades of the Cu Kuin District Police, Dak Lak Province who died while performing their duties; support 100 million VND for 2 comrades of the Cu Kuin District Police who were injured while performing their duties, Senior Lieutenant Dam Dinh Bop (born in 1993), Deputy Head of the Ea Ktur Commune Police and Captain Le Kien Cuong (born in 1988), an officer of the Ea Ktur Commune Police.
