Recently, activities to care for and support workers who have lost their jobs or have reduced income in businesses that lack orders or have cut orders continue to receive attention.

Organizational deploymentTrade Union CongressAll levels are deployed according to plan. By May 31, 2023, the whole province had completed the grassroots trade union congress, of which 2,667/2,885 trade unions held congresses; 102/2,885 trade unions held conferences; 16/2,885 units did not hold congresses.

At the end of the first 6 months of the year, out of 15 targets assigned to the Labor Federation in 2023, 2 targets were exceeded and 4 targets were completed.(100% achieved), 9 targets are being continued to be implemented and will strive to be completed by the end of 2023.

However, according to the report, there are 5 low-achievement indicators such as enterprises paying union fees through the Vietnam Trade Union account; enterprises proposing and negotiating shift meals; developing and increasing union members; signing new collective labor agreements in enterprises with union organizations... This is also an issue that delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions for the coming time.

This year's Workers' Month is also the time when trade unions at all levels focus highly on organizing congresses for the 2023-2028 term. Trade unions at all levels have implemented many programs and activities to practically care for union members and laborers.

However, in order for the Workers' Month to be implemented better in the coming time, the implementation of plans needs to be issued early, the work of consulting, proposing well, and taking advantage of the direction of Party committees at all levels to implement the "Workers' Month" activities. In addition, it is necessary to actively coordinate with the government and professionals to mobilize resources, create interest and support to implement a number of major activities, especially those that are simultaneous and concentrated.
