Russia builds tiny unmanned reconnaissance aircraft weighing only 21 grams
Developers from the Experimental Design Bureau "Creation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" have created a miniature reconnaissance AV "Vector-75" weighing only 21 grams.
"Everyone knows the 18-gram Black Hornet model that all NATO units have at their disposal. We have created the Vector-75 micro-drones," - said one of the developers of the device.

According to him, the weight of the drone is 21 grams, and when the device is in a state intended for combat operations, it weighs 32 grams. The flight time of the new device is from 4 to 7 minutes, depending on the type of payload.
Strengths of Russian UAVs
"We believe that in the future our concept should replace the Black Hornet, since low cost is a decisive factor in the production process. Equipment intended for such purposes should be mostly disposable," - the designer added.
"Our device is practically inaudible to the human ear at a distance of more than 15 meters. It can also transmit images in real time to the operator's control panel or special video glasses. And the most important thing is that it will not be a pity to lose it because the main feature is the very low cost of the device," - the expert concluded.
