Exactly 100 years ago, on June 30, 1923, the patriotic young man Nguyen Ai Quoc first came to the Soviet Union in Petrograd, now St. Petersburg, to find a way to save the country. And here, he found Marxism-Leninism as the path to national liberation. The inauguration of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in St. Petersburg commemorates this event.
