At the final round of Miss World Vietnam 2023, Nguyen Minh Trang (contestant number 012) attracted attention when she won the title. Most favorite beauty.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Minh Trang said that she competed in Miss World Vietnam to change herself. The 10x used to be shy in front of crowds, content with her daily life: going to school, working part-time, living with her family. The contest was an opportunity to help her hone her courage, go beyond her comfort zone to become more mature.
The beauty decided to study at RMIT University on her father's advice. Choosing Digital Marketing, Minh Trang always updates herself on new trends in media and social networks, acquires a lot of useful knowledge and trains her creativity. The international environment and talented students make her feel that no matter how much she studies, it is never enough, so she always tries to practice to gain experience.

“Sometimes, I feel peer pressure, but I always consider the talented people around me as a source of inspiration, motivating me to try harder. I learn from my friends what I lack to improve myself, thereby creating opportunities for myself. Participating in extracurricular activities also helps me to be more active and develop my soft skills,” the female student confided. Minh Trang used to study in an English-German bilingual class at Viet Duc High School, has an IELTS score of 6.5 and can communicate in basic German. The academic environment requires daily use of English, she is confident in this ability but is constantly improving to become more proficient.

In addition to studying, the 10x works as a teaching assistant and tutor at an English center. Working part-time early makes her appreciate money and hard work even more. “With my first salary, I was happy to use the money to buy gifts for my parents and relatives. I gave my father a pair of shoes, but I only used them when I went out, which motivated me to try harder. Because I believe in the saying that when you grow up, people look at your income to treat your parents,” she confided.
Teaching has given Minh Trang many good relationships and taught her patience when working with students of different ages and teaching methods. For young students, the 10x finds that there is no more effective way to teach than patience and dedication.

In addition, Minh Trang and her group of friends regularly cook and distribute meals to workers who work late at night, patients and their families in hospitals in Hanoi. She hopes to add strength and motivation to those in difficult circumstances.
Few people know that in middle school, this female student was criticized for the mole on her face, to the point of wanting to remove it. With her father's consolation, she realized that she might not be as good as anyone else, not exceptionally beautiful, but she was lucky to have a healthy body, a home to return to, a family to confide in, and to do the things she liked.
My father is also the person who has the greatest influence on Minh Trang. “My father is always gentle, caring and patient. I have been driving for 7 months now but have never washed a car or filled up gas because my father always takes care of it. My father was the valedictorian of the translation major (Hanoi University), always working hard to become a solid support for the family. When his daughter was in difficulty or under pressure, he always helped me solve the problem and gave invaluable advice,” she confided. Therefore, the 19-year-old beauty is proud to have her family accompany and enthusiastically support her when competing in beauty pageants. Her parents do not put pressure on Minh Trang to study, although sometimes she has high expectations, leading to stress. In the recent final round, the 10x parents temporarily put their work aside and flew to Ho Chi Minh City to accompany their daughter.

Minh Trang enjoys reading detective novels, especially when she is under pressure or has a lot of thoughts on her mind. This genre helps her concentrate, relieve stress, and make her brain work better. Her favorite detective novels are those by Japanese writer Keigo Higashino.

Minh Trang is concerned about the issue of verbal violence on social networks. “Negative, malicious, and uncontributive words can cause a person to lose their inherent confidence, become introverted, or even end their life. Because each of those words is an invisible weapon but is as sharp as a knife. As a communications student, I hope to contribute to raising people's awareness of the importance of behavioral culture on the internet,” the beauty expressed.
