Voters express their opinions on the question and answer session on school violence
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 6, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh answered questions from provincial People's Council delegates on the issue of school violence. This content has received much attention and comments from voters.
The following are the opinions of some voters recorded by Nghe An Newspaper reporters:
Mr. Phan Thai Duong - voter of Hung Nguyen town (Hung Nguyen):
“Through watching the live broadcast of the question and answer session of Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training on NTV, I realized that the situation of school violence has really reached an alarming level. From the preliminary report, it shows that school violence is on the rise and the developments are becoming more complicated and unpredictable.
I basically agree with the solutions proposed by Mr. Thai Van Thanh to gradually limit school violence. However, perhaps due to time constraints, the solutions proposed by Mr. Thanh are still general, not really specific and clear enough for voters in general, teachers and parents in particular to grasp in detail.

In my opinion, to prevent school violence, along with schools and society, families play the most important role. The increase in school violence is basically due to violent games on the internet, which are spread on social networks. Therefore, parents must strictly control their children, monitor their activities on the internet to prevent it in time.
In short, school violence occurs everywhere, even outside of school, and the root cause originates from family education. Therefore, implementing preventive solutions requires maximizing the role of the family. And when building a system of solutions, the Education and Training sector needs to pay attention to this issue."
Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai - voter of Ben Thuy ward (Vinh city):
“School violence is becoming a serious problem that affects the health, spirit and learning outcomes of students. In particular, the problem does not only exist with normal violent behavior but also leads to insults to dignity, isolation and persecution in cyberspace.
With the explanations of Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training, we can see that the provincial education sector has grasped the situation, correctly assessed the current situation as well as had many solutions to this problem. However, this is a problem that requires the participation of many departments, branches and the consensus of parents to solve.

In addition to propaganda and education measures, in conjunction with the Parents' Association, Teachers' Association... to educate students on standard behavior, it is thought that the Department of Education and Training should coordinate with security agencies to organize propaganda on the penalties and sentences that school violence may face, with specific examples that have occurred in recent years.
Because for students, it is often just a temporary act of satisfying personal thoughts, not yet aware of the violation of the law. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen coordination with families to control children's use of social networks, listen and share promptly with their thoughts and feelings, not letting the problem go too far leading to unfortunate consequences...".
Mr. Pham Van Tien - voter of Thanh Lam commune (Thanh Chuong):
“From the reality of life happening around me as well as following newspapers and radio, I am really interested in the issue of school violence. Following the question and answer session of Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training, I found the current situation, analysis of causes and solutions to limit and prevent school violence to be close to the current reality.

Thereby, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of the education sector towards the problem of school violence. Mr. Thanh has identified the role of his sector, at the same time, raised the responsibility of the family as well as the social community, because school violence originates from causes and often occurs outside the school space.
This is completely reasonable, because teachers at school cannot control all the behaviors and thoughts of students, especially when they are no longer in the classroom. To educate students about personality and love, there needs to be close coordination between school, family and society. Emphasizing this, delegate Thai Van Thanh explained in a concise, succinct and focused manner.
