The boat has a large capacity, according to the plan, his boat would return to the fishing port in 2 days, but due to big waves and strong winds, he urgently brought the fishing boat back to the port to sell seafood and avoid the storm.

The sea was rough so on this trip he caught 5 tons of anchovies, 3 tons of herring, spotted fish and 2 tons of other fish. His boat earned nearly 200 million VND, after deducting expenses each crew member was paid 5 million VND/trip.

Mr. Pham Vuong, owner of fishing boat NA91285TS in Hong Hai block, Quynh Lap commune, said that his boat has a large capacity, so this morning his boat had to arrange a shuttle boat to return to the port, both to avoid the storm and to sell seafood. This trip his boat brought back nearly 6 tons of anchovies and various types of squid, mackerel, spotted sardines, herring... This morning after selling the fish, he earned 200 million VND. After deducting expenses, the crew members all had income and were excited.

According to the reporter, the sea is rough so many types of fish are brought in and are purchased by traders right at the wharf to go to the market and consume in cold storage. Mr. Le Hoi Hung - Director of Doan Ket Cooperative, a unit with nearly 10 fishing boats, said that during this time, the fishing and consumption fleet in the southern provinces also brought to the port nearly 3 tons of squid and some valuable seafood, this time the price of seafood is high so there is also profit.

Hoang Mai town has a fleet of nearly 600 fishing boats. Quynh Lap commune's fishing output in the first 6 months of the year is estimated at 17,800 tons, equal to 51% of the plan for the whole year of 2023.
