Bayern Munich's homepage announced that it has successfully recruited Korean central defender, Kim Min Jae, from Napoli.

To get Kim Min-jae's signature, MU had to spend 50 million euros to release his contract with Napoli. This contract is effective in the first 2 weeks of July 2023 and Bayern has surpassed MU in this race to own the 26-year-old center-back.

The transfer fee has made Kim Min Jae the most expensive Asian player in history. Previously, the record belonged to Shoya Nakajima. The Japanese star moved from Portimonense to Al Duhail in 2017 for 35 million euros.
